Praying Together
We wanted to provide an opportunity for our church family to pray together during the Covid-19 crisis. Each Wednesday night for the next several weeks we'll gather online to encourage and pray for one another.
What is Zoom?
Zoom is an online platform and software that allows for group meetings to take place over the internet. You may use any PC/Mac Computer with a Camera (though not required) or any iPhone or Android Phone. A high speed internet connection or cell phone data plan is required. Upon joining the gathering you will hear a succession of beeps and be given the option to turn on your mic, select your sound or allow or disallow video from your device.

How to Join the Call
- Go to the zoom website and sign up: https://zoom.us/
- Download any required software
- Set up an account with your email address
- Register for the online prayer Gathering to obtain password.
- Follow this link to the online prayer meeting for The Groves Church at 8pm
Instructions for Participating
- Mute your microphone upon entry (if it is not already muted) and unmute when speaking, re-mute after you are finished speaking to avoid feedback (controls should be at the bottom your screen)
- Have a note pad ready for recording prayer requests
- Be patient as we learn to use this platform together.
- Interact via the chat feature at the bottom right of the screen-note your messages are set to go to everyone in the group by default.
